Investing in Basin Gulch: what investors should know

Basin Gulch gives investors exposure to a Montana gold-silver property with more than 320 historical drill holes that has not been mined out.

Lannister Mining, which explores Basin Gulch, says there is a clear market premium for S-K 1300 and NI 43-101 compliant gold and silver ounces in the USA. Its plan is to turn historical drilling and new work into a maiden mineral resource estimate on a consolidated land package in a historic mining district.

Why invest in a gold exploration company like Lannister Mining?

Investors look at explorers like Lannister Mining for the chance that drilling grows into a defined resource. Lannister Mining points to significant historical work at Basin Gulch, a consolidated land package, a safe jurisdiction and a market premium for compliant US ounces. Exploration investing is high risk: results may not be confirmed and no mine is assured.

Four investment highlights

  • Significant historical work

More than 320 historical drill holes, with highlight intercepts such as 1.8 g/t Au over 162 meters from surface.

  • Potential for premium evaluation

Lannister Mining states that US-based companies with 43-101 compliant resources trade at a significant premium to their peers.

  • Large consolidated land package

11 patented and 53 unpatented claims, 1,107 hectares, with multiple high priority targets near the historic resource.

  • Safe jurisdiction

In the heart of the historic Philipsburg Mining District, which led the original US silver boom in the late 1800s.

Definition

What is a maiden mineral resource estimate?

A maiden mineral resource estimate is the first formal estimate of how much mineralized material a deposit contains, prepared under a reporting standard such as NI 43-101 in Canada or S-K 1300 in the United States, by a qualified person.

Basin Gulch does not yet have one. Lannister Mining plans to use historical drilling and new work programs, including expansion and confirmation drilling of historical intercepts, in a future Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. The company says the property has potential to host a significant estimate, and links compliant US ounces to a market premium.

Is investing in a gold exploration company risky?

Yes. Gold exploration companies generally carry higher risk than producers because they have no mine revenue and their value depends on future discoveries, studies and financing. Historical drill results may not be confirmed, and a resource estimate may not lead to a mine. Read company disclosures and consider independent financial advice before investing in any explorer, including Lannister Mining.
